The City of Ann Arbor launched its new website. Keystone Media designed and programmed 8 templates for the unique pages of the site. The City’s staff built out the site using the templates designed by Keystone.
The design process went smoothly, with the city selecting one of two designs for the final site. Once the design was selected and refined, Keystone led usability testing sessions to ensure the site was easily understood and used by various stakeholders. Included in the testing was a person with limited vision.
Once the designs for all 8 templates were final, Keystone Media programmed the templates using bootstrap for a fully responsive and ADA compliant site. Bootstrap has become a standard framework for developing responsive websites. Responsive websites have become the standard as they allow site’s display to be optimized for various devices – desktop, tablets, and mobile.
The Ann Arbor City website’s development process a very large and complex project. The project went exceedingly smooth, being developed in budget and on time. The Keystone team strives to deliver all projects on time and on budget.
