Annie Wolock, Website Strategist
Even after 27 years, Annie still buzzes with entrepreneurial spirit. She brings vast array of business savvy to every project Keystone Media undertakes. She brings her past’s practical knowledge as the former owner of a B2B industrial equipment supplier. Her 3-year stint as a former general manager of multiple college textbook stores brings valuable brick and mortar retail experience to her work with online stores. And she even understands big business needs, having once worked in management at General Electric.
Annie brings an educational background in both marketing and the arts to all Keystone’s projects. As of Fall 2020, Annie teaches ‘Digital Strategy’ at the local Washtenaw Community College, WCC. (WCC is a jewel in our community.) It’s a phenomenal class that covers all aspects of Digital Marketing Strategy.
In Annie’s role as chief website strategist, she guides clients through an up-front strategic planning phase. She insists a strong strategy sets a strong foundation. This foundation leads to vastly improved online results and longer lasting websites.
When not at work she enjoys renovating old things, acrylic painting, cooking locally-grown whole foods for friends, reading about the newest and the greatest web tactics, and participating in Toastmasters. She prefers “off the beaten track” skiing, biking, and hiking vacations.
