Experience in Creating Distance Learning Environments
Creating and developing distance learning environments has been a core business for Keystone Media since 1996 when we were commissioned to design and develop a distance learning environment for information technology managers at major universities across the country. This was a large collaborative project with the Corporation for Education Networking (CREN), Merit Networks, and Internet2 using cutting edge technologies.
Keystone Media now develops library portals, streaming and synchronized seminars and presentations, assessment tools, and online classroom environments for businesses, educational institutes and municipalities.
Just Launched! The eTools section of the High/Scope website brings a revolutionary vision to life for the High/Scope Educational Research Foundation.
The site consolidates High/Scope's online offerings: assessments, surveys, forums, and training. The training section allows for a complete online classroom experience. A content management system allows the staff to easily maintain the site.
Launched in the spring of 2006, the Ready School Assessment website is an online educational assessment tool that aggregates data and as it's collected, dynamically generates bar charts that allow users to compare their progress within a national, regional, or district pool of data.
The Ypsilanti District Library's top priority was a strong Information Architecture that would allow users to easily find out about all the events at the Library. The Library is a community hub and they wanted the site to reflect this.
A content management system was built so that the entire site can easily be updated to keep pace with the events.
